Panels:

The Panels (180 minutes) will consist of a 60-minute overview presentation followed by a 60-minute
moderated dialogue and interventions from participants.  Media and social development partners will be
invited to take on the role of commentators, reflecting on statements made by panelists and participants.  A
reporter for the Panel will provide final highlights, conclusions of the Panel, and action-oriented
recommendations.

Sessions:

The Sessions (90 minutes) are designed to provide a platform for dialogue and exchange among women in
science, UN Officials, Members States’ representatives and media communities, as well as facilitate interaction
with other stakeholders. Each session will have a 30-minute overview presentation followed by a 45-minute
moderated discussion and interventions from participants.  A reporter for the Session will provide final
highlights, conclusions of the Session, and action-oriented recommendations.
