The Girls in Science International Platform is created following the Third Commemoration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, where the first ever girls in science panel was held. Girls from all around the world convened to discuss solutions to achieve equality in the sciences for sustainable development. The Outcome Document of the panel was presented at the closing ceremony and approved by acclamation.
The Girls in Science 4 SDGs International platform, a new initiative by the Royal Academy of Science International Trust (R.A.S.I.T), that seeks to give girls the opportunity to shape their own future and the future of their communities, and to be the lead innovators of tomorrow – TODAY.
The Girls in Science 4 SDGs International Platform is created and managed by young change-makers and passionate girls-in-science advocates from around the world to present their vision on how they can utilize sciences to achieve sustainable development goals.
